My parents have been married more than 40 years when my father passed so I grew up with both of them in my life 24/7. They showed me the power of Black Love. Faced with blatant racism and constant struggle during 1960's America they remained committed and dedicated to provide a solid foundation for their family. So today the question is always asked, How do we get back to long lasting Black Love? Where do we begin?
We are attempting to answer that question and gain insight into those things that divide us in the documentary, He Say/She Say. I personally feel that taking a serious look at problem can bring about some form of solution. Along with Love Jones Media, we will be filming in various locations around Los Angeles and invite you to share your opinions. We want to start friendly, caring dialogue that will allow understanding and new approaches to bring back Black Love!
If you would like to join us simply email our producers at email@example.com. Include your email address, your story and a picture of yourself. We will contact you within 72 hours to have a brief conversation. There will be no compensation for participation but we promise it will be insightful and fun at the same time.
As always, I thank you for your continued support and look forward to having you be a part of my project!
P.S. With Love comes Responsibility... Love Responsibly!
